Term Carnivore
Definition

Any organism that subsists on a diet of meat from dead or living animals. It also refers to the mammalian class, carnivorous order, which consists of mammals that have adapted to the consumption of meat, though many are omnivores and even herbivores. It includes felines (lion, tiger, and puma), bears, wild dogs (wolves, coyotes, and foxes), otters, weasels, and raccoons.
